Our air-conditioned rainforest rooms can accommodate between two to five guests (queen, twin or family options). Some of the rooms are pet friendly (please check when making a booking) and one of our queen rooms is wheelchair accessible.

Relax and unwind in our motel-style accommodation perfect for enjoying the Daintree Rainforest in all seasons.
Each of our rainforest rooms is equipped with air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans for your comfort on balmy tropical evenings.
Guests can enjoy the privacy of their own en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, a mini fridge to store your own goodies and an outdoor rainforest seating area in a natural setting. Each room has it’s own guest parking space.
During your stay, enjoy a meal at our on-site Daintree Rainforest restaurant set amongst tropical gardens – note hours currently vary.
FAQs
Our air-conditioned rooms are ready to welcome guests for a minimum of 2 nights. However, as we are currently prioritising bookings for those repairing roads and facilities north of the Daintree River, all bookings for February must be made via email. Confirmation of bookings must be shown before boarding the Daintree River Car Ferry.

Council does not allow cooking in our motel rooms. Guests are welcome to use our outside barbecue facilities and camp kitchen.
For those who bring their own food we can provide loaned cutlery, crockery and microwave. Guests can self-cater for breakfast in their rooms and enjoy lunch and dinner at our restaurant.
Yes, some of our rainforest rooms are pet friendly. Please check at time of booking for the availability of these rooms if bringing a pet with you. There is an additional charge of $20/night/pet and pets must be included in your booking details.
There are however some strict rules that apply to pets on the premises due to the abundance of wildlife at Daintree Siesta.
Also, please note that many of the Daintree Rainforest attractions do not allow pets. Paws and Claws in Craiglie provides kennel services as an alternative option for your furry loved ones.

Due to Tropical Cyclone Jasper many activities are closed or have limited operating hours.
While visiting us guests can ‘be’ in the rainforest & enjoy exploring our on-site rainforest walks and spot ancient flora and vulnerable and endangered fauna endemic to the area.
We also have a range of games, puzzles and DVD’s for guests to borrow whilst here, as well as a book exchange

At Daintree Siesta we provide a chance to digital detox with no wi-fi and limited mobile reception.
